Milwaukee- Joseph S. Romans, 87, passed away January 22, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born October 2, 1932 to Joseph and Catherine (Wisniewski) Romans. Joseph was a proud Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. He married Carol Ann Amrozewicz on September 5, 1964 and together they raised 11 children. He supported his family working as a custodian for Milwaukee County. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed taking his grandchildren out to eat.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children, Randolf (Julie), Deborah, David, Joseph (Melissa), Daniel, Carolyn, Christopher, Mary (Ryan) Williamson, Katrinia, and Marie; daughter-in-law, Nicole; and 9 grandchildren.

Joseph was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas and his parents.

Visitation will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5 – 7 pm. Memorial services will begin at 7 pm. Private burial with full military honors will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery.
