Bristol - Judith M. Zavacke, age 78, passed away on February 3, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. She was born on May 4, 1945, to parents Allan and Evangeline (nee. Johnson) Hodell. Judi graduated from Waukegan High School in 1963 and went on to earn her bachelor's degree at Carthage College in 1968. She taught physical education and health at Westosha Central High School for 36 years and retired in 2004. Judi married the love of her life, Leo Zavacke, on August 3, 1968, at St. Casimir's Church. They were longtime members of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Antioch, IL. She loved doing crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, watching gameshows, cooking, and reading. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Judi is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leo Zavacke; son, Erik (Heidi) Zavacke; grandchildren, Araya, Abigail and Aricka Zavacke; brother, Allan R. (Kandi) Hodell Jr.

Memorial service will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home in Union Grove on Thursday February 8, 2024. Visitation from 3-5 PM with a 5PM prayer service.
