Kansasville - Julie Anne Mikulak, age 77, passed away on February 16, 2022, at Burlington Hospital. She was born on January 11, 1945, to Harold and Dorothy Mitchell of Ludington, Michigan.

She was the loving wife of Peter for 47 years, determined mother to Peter (Katie) and Zachary (Annamarie) and doting grandmother to Peter, Moira and Payton.

Following graduation from high school, she attended Central Michigan University. Julie later moved to Illinois to become a dedicated teacher of English and reading for over 30 years, delighting in working with young people and misplaced modifiers. Julie loved reading, making big plans, and working in the garden, creating a world a little more beautiful for butterflies, birds and ferns.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
