Union Grove – Karol J. Voigt (nee Hasson), 75, was called to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, April 30, 2017. She was born January 18, 1942 to Arno and Marie (nee Klauser) Hasson in Sheboygan, WI. On September 26, 1964, at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, Karol was united in marriage to John Voigt. They resided in Kenosha for 34 years before moving to Union Grove in 2005. Karol was a very active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Union Grove volunteering for the Lutheran Women in Mission. She loved attending Bible study, singing in the choir, baking, gathering with family and friends, and watching any Wisconsin sport.

Karol is survived by her children, Rev. Steven (Sherry) Voigt, Peter (Tami) Voigt, and Rachel (Robert) Tidwell; grandchildren, Jonathan (Lineve), Lisa, Andrew, Joshua, Stephanie, Kayla, Jamie, Jacob, Nathan, and Emily; great-grandchildren, Julia, Riley, Alexis, Benvolio, Adayla, and Peyton; brother-in-law, James (Lois) Voigt of White Rock, British Columbia, Canada; and sister-in-law, Susan (Dan) Spielvogel of Shawano. She is further survived by one niece, three nephews, other relatives and friends.

Karol was preceded in death by her husband, John; and her parents, Arno and Marie.

Visitation will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 4 from 9 am – 11:15 am. Service will begin at 11:30 am officiated by Pastor David Ramirez. Private burial will be at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
