Burlington – Kathleen M. Werner, age 71, passed away at her residence on October 4, 2017. She was born on October 18, 1945 to parents Edward and Luella (nee. Crane) Wedge in Chicago, IL. On February 2, 1963, she married Bill Werner and were married for 55 years. Kathleen loved pets, both stray or in house. Her hobby was watching true crime shows and enjoyed going to casinos. More than anything, she loved taking care of her family and spending time with them. She will be dearly missed.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Bill; her children, Michele (Gregory) Bates, Lisa (Curt) Kruger, Bill Werner, Jackie (Mike) Werner-Erickson; grandchildren, Kyle and Kelsey Huffman, Cameron Bates, Chase Kruger, and Tyler Werner; her brothers, William and George Wedge.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edward Wedge.
