Union Grove - Kay was born June 4, 1937 in Kenosha, WI to Elmer and Elsie (nee. Quick) Kluender. She grew up in her beloved city of Kenosha spending the majority of her youth playing in the neighborhood streets and parks. She left this earthly life to rejoin her parents on November 18, 2021.

Kay was united in marriage to Robert Drissel on June 19, 1965. Together they shared two children, a son, Kevin and a daughter, Kimberly (Carl) Kujac. After graduating college from the University of Whitewater, Kay worked as a school teacher. She retired after working several years at Milaeger's Garden Center in Racine. Kay had a passion for her gardening, cooking and quilting. Kay also loved to participate in antique tractor parades and she spent may hours with her husband, Bob, turning soil on the farm they loved. She adored her grandchildren and spent her days doing everything to make sure they knew how special they were to her.

Kay is survived by her loving husband Robert, her son Kevin and her daughter Kimberly (Carl) Kujac. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kyle (Mallory) Kujac and Kailee Kujac. Also surviving are her great grandchildren Kensley, Kendalyn and Kason Kujac and also Jackson and Amelia Dembosky.

A special thank you to her friends Jerry and Steve who were always there to help. The family would also like to thank Ann, her compassionate caretaker in her final days.

A future celebration of her life will be held in June of 2022.
