Sturtevant – Kyle A. Barstad, aka "Kyzilla", 34, passed away September 19, 2021 at Ascension All Saints Hospital of Covid-19.  He was born April 9, 1987 to Kevin and Debra (Vogel) Barstad.  Kyle graduated from South Milwaukee High School Class of 2005.  Kyle worked for Eder Flag for 5 years and Kerry Industries for 3 years.  He was currently employed through Aerotech.  Kyle was an avid video gamer.  He was really into Gundam and was a huge Star Wars fan.  Kyle was a wonderful father and a gentle giant of a man.  He left us too soon and will be missed by all who knew him.

Kyle is survived by the love of his life, his fiancée, Alexandria Pizzo; their beloved children, Gracelynn and Skye; his parents, Kevin and Debra; his siblings, Jennifer Barstad and Travis Barstad (Stephanie Marlotty); nieces and nephews, Samuel and Lucas Barstad, Willow, Linnea, and Sebastian Nelson; grandmothers, Marietta Barstad and Lorna Vogel; and Alexandria's parents, Manny Pizzo and Laura Dade.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edgar Barstad and Charles Vogel.

Visitation for Kyle's family and friends will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Saturday, September 25 from 10 am – 1 pm.  Cremation will follow.
