Union Grove – Laura Grace Koepke, age 90, passed away on December 16, 2025, at Lincoln Park Nursing and Rehab.

Laura was born on July 15, 1935, to Carney and Catherine (Persons) Ryker. She grew up in Whitewater, Wisconsin. On October 22, 1955, she married Wayne Koepke. They made Union Grove their home by being involved in the community, from being Treasurer of the Union Grove Methodist Church to making scrapbooks for the UGYFD. She was on the Graham Public Library Board for years and worked as the bookkeeper for Union Grove Grade School for many year, retiring in 1990.

Over the years Laura has been involved with many hobbies and interests including gardening and doing yardwork with Wayne. She loved spending time with her family and making beautiful scrapbooks for them about some of their wonderful memories together.

Laura is survived by her children, Debra (Pete) Reesman and William (Heidi) Koepke; grandchildren, Ericka Windsong, Donald (Brandon Ahler) Koepke, Amy Koepke, Abby (Chris Karnowski) Koepke, William (Jessica) Koepke, Angela (Geoff) Warmington, Jessica (Shane) DeHart, and Melissa (Travis) Joslin; great grandchildren, Jaelyn Koepke, Kyra, Riley, and Eli DeHart, Kane Warmington, Ian, and Rowen Warmington, and Victoria Johnston; sister-in-law Judy Ryker; and many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Laura was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Koepke, and son, Daniel (Lary Cook) Koepke and brothers, Carney Ryker, Jerud Ryker, and John "Jim" Arnold

Services will be held on January 13th at the funeral home Visitation starting at 1PM with a prayer service staring at 2PM. Burial to follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery.
