Union Grove – Laura T. Syverson, 45, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2024. Laura spent the last year trying to recover from a major traumatic car accident which changed her life completely. She was born April 1, 1979, to Gilbert and Nancy (Seidenkranz) Syverson. She grew up in South Milwaukee, graduated from South Milwaukee High School, and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for American Sign Language interpretation and Theater. She worked at the Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove where she was the announcer and show girl known as "Nitro Lola." Most of her career she was a magician assistant working for years with David Seebach in his Wonders of Magic show. Most recently she was working in health care management of group homes in Burlington. She loved riding her Harley. Her hobbies included fishing and hunting every year and playing the drums.

Laura is survived by her son, Seth Syverson; her loving companion, Gary McCaske; her father, Gilbert Syverson; her brother, Joshua Caflisch; her best friend for life, Jennifer Talatzko; and many other family members and friends.

Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy and grandparents, Marjorie and Rodney Syverson.

A visitation for Laura's family and friends will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Saturday, May 4 from 11 am - 2 pm. A memorial service will begin at 2 pm.
