Laurie Ann Atkinson, age 54, passed away on May 2, 2025, at The Bay at Burlington. She was born on September 15, 1970, to parents Robert and Darlene (nee. Anderson) Atkinson.

Laurie graduated from Horlick High School and lived her life with a zest for the simple pleasures that brought her joy. She was an avid reader and a passionate listener of music, with a particular fondness for the timeless tunes of Elvis Presley. Laurie found delight in family outings and enjoyed the thrill of playing slot machines. Her love for horses and her treasured dog, Angel, exemplified her deep appreciation for companionship and animals. A dedicated Green Bay Packers fan, her spirit shone brightly during football season. She also cherished her time with the Red Hat Society alongside her beloved mother, creating lasting memories.

Laurie is survived by her brother, Paul Atkinson; sister, Denise (Otis) Kincaid; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Laurie was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Alan Atkinson.

A private burial will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
