Union Grove - Leon R. Hansen, 72, passed away on April 23, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center, Racine, WI. He was born October 16, 1943 to Clarence and Florence (nee Shell) Hansen in Orange Township, Juneau County, WI. Leon married the love of his life, Janeen Dudman on March 16, 1968. They were married for 48 years until her passing on February 7, 2016. Broken hearted, he now reunites with his beloved wife in heaven. He enjoyed family, friends and social gatherings especially during the holidays. Not too long ago he loved to hunt and fish and always had a story to tell. Leon served in the Army National Guard from 1964-1970. He retired from SC Johnson Company leaving him more time to enjoy family, friends, bingo and an occasional trip to the casino to play "Sizzling Sevens" slots.

Leon is survived by his sons, Chris (Lisa Smith) Hansen and Tim Hansen; his brother, Ronald Hansen; and his sisters, Arlene Day, Arliss Davis, and Joyce Hanson.

Leon was preceded in death by his wife, Janeen; his parents Clarence and Florence; and his brothers, Lester, Eugene, and Milford.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home. Memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm.
