Formerly of Waukegan – LeRoy Wayne Cobb, 72, passed away on May 21, 2019 at Clement J. Zablock VA Medical Center. He was born April 6, 1947 to Audrey and Marie (nee Johnson) Cobb in Oklahoma.  LeRoy worked as an electrical fire alarm technician for many years.  He moved from Waukegan to live with his daughter's family several years ago and became very close with his granddaughter.  He was always a good listener and helped his family through so much.  He was a sports enthusiast, especially for Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, and Cubs.  He was a handyman, mechanic, cartoonist, outdoorsman, and dog lover.  LeRoy was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army.  He suffered from Agent Orange exposure and ended up living at the Union Grove Veteran Home.

LeRoy is survived by his daughter, Liza Walski; son-in-law, Randy Walski; and granddaughter, Lindsey.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his grandson, Aaron; and his parents, Audrey and Marie.

LeRoy will be interred at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full military honors at a future date.
