Racine – Linda Marie Atkinson, age 60, passed away on October 27, 2024, at The Bay at Water's Edge in Kenosha surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 15, 1964, to parents Thomas Sr. and Madeline (nee. Bowman) O'Brien. She graduated from Racine Horlick High School and went on to work at Durham School Service and Leasing for 10 years. She married the love of her life, Paul Atkinson, on June 8, 1985, and together they raised three children. Linda had many hobbies. She loved crocheting, playing bingo, going fishing and camping, and was part of a bowling league. Linda enjoyed making crafts, especially Christmas stockings and ornaments.

Linda was a strong, outspoken, and kindhearted person. She loved everyone and would give the shirt off her back for someone in need. She was a mother to all her kids' friends and will be dearly missed.

Linda is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Mark Anthony (Anastasia) O'Brien, Gina Atkinson, and Katherine Atkinson; grandchildren, Alivia York, Loni O'Brien, Paul Bishop Jr., Brandon Atkinson, Aiden O'Brien, Elijah Atkinson, Nuala O'Brien; father, Thomas O'Brien Sr.; siblings, Sharon (Dennis) O'Brien, Thomas O'Brien Jr., Mary O'Brien, and Steven O'Brien; siblings in law, Anita Atkinson, Denise (Odie) Kinkaid, Laurie Atkinson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Madeline O'Brien; sister, Debra O'Brien; and brother-in-law, Alan Atkinson.

A visitation will be held at Miller Reesman Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm with a service to begin at 5.
