Kenosha-Linda Marie (Markiewicz) Brazeau, 70, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  Linda was born in Kenosha on July 31, 1950, to the late George and Rose Markiewicz.  She attended local school in Kenosha County.  She was a 1968 graduate from Central High School and furthered her education at Gateway Technical College.  She paused her education to raise her children.  Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Science in medical coding and was 1 credit away from receiving her Master of Science in medical coding from Herzing University.  Linda worked for several hospitals in the area over the years.  She had her own medical billing business.  Linda was an avid reader.  She loved her tabloids, People Magazine, and crossword puzzles.  She enjoyed watching Dancing with the Stars, The Voice, Masked Singer, and Hallmark Channel.   At the Boys and Girls Club she was a mentor for single mothers.  She was a mom to four and a mother to many.

Linda is survived by her children, Jason (Danielle), Joel (Tina), Jon (Elizabeth), Reginald, and Lavon (Randy); and 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her siblings, George (Tracey) Markiewicz, Gerald (Michele) Markiewicz, John (Judy) Markiewicz, Cheryl Ann (Milt) Ketchum, and Mary Jo Salas; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews; and friends that were like family, Claire Kosterman and Jim and Carol Mosley.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rose Markiewicz, and her nephew, Donald Salas.

Visitation for friends and family will be Monday, July 19 from 11 am -1 pm at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home.  Memorial service will begin at 1 pm.
