Lois J. Grossman, 81 of Twin Lakes, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 5th, surrounded by her loving family.

Lois was born on November 21, 1944 in Racine, WI, the daughter of the late Edwin and Helen (Leet) Henningfield. Lois attended Union Grove grade school and High School and took additional classes at Gateway Technical College that prepared her for her role as an Office Operations Associate at Southern Girls Oak School, where she retired. Outside of work, Lois had a passion for the outdoors. Lois loved to garden and took meticulous care of her strawberry patch and sweet corn. Lois loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing, had a knack for sewing and enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren. She also had a gift for baking goodies, especially her cookies that everyone enjoyed.

Lois was a member of the Wilmot United Methodist Church for many years and baked cookies for the church during the Christmas holidays.  She was also an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 361 in Wilmot, WI. She was a member of the Lois Club, which met monthly and the Harvest Club, where she was able to travel and socialize with other Seniors. Lois was proud Honor Queen of Job's Daughters.

Lois is survived by her children: Philip (Karen) Grossman and Jennifer (Jeff) Daniels; her grandchildren Katelyn Thatcher and Ciara Daniels; her siblings: Edwin Jr. "Buster" (Marian) Henningfield, Fred (Judy) Henningfield, Nancy (Dean) Whitwam, Ernie Henningfield (Mary Weiler), Janice (Janet Mueller) Henningfield, and Barb (Danny) Appling; along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Grossman; parents, Edwin and Helen Henningfield, her brother, Warren Henningfield, Kevin Thatcher (father of Katelyn Thatcher) and niece, Marie Henningfield-Horvath.

A visitation will take place at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Friday, April 17th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a service starting at 12 noon. Burial will take place following the service at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
