Lori Ann Carroll, aged 59, left us far too soon on October 21, 2025. Born on July 29, 1966, in Racine, Wisconsin, Lori grew up to be a remarkable individual who touched the lives of so many. A proud graduate of St. Catherine's High School Class of 1984, she went on to earn her nursing degree from Gateway Technical College. Lori dedicated her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at Oak Ridge Care Center for over 20 years and previously at the Veterans Nursing Home-Boland Hall for 11 years.

Lori was a wonderful and patient wife to her husband of 19 years, David Carroll, and a loving mother to her two sons, Adam and Brandon Childers. She was also a cherished sister to Vicki and Kevin (Jessi) Lowney, a beloved aunt to nieces Nora and Olivia. Her family also includes her stepdaughter Tina Romano and step-grandchildren, Joey and Brianna Romano, who brought her joy. She also leaves behind her close friends, Denise Gill, Judy Jones, and Bonnie and Adam Christensen. Lori Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Robert Lowney.

A true fan of rock and roll, Lori often found herself jamming to her favorite tunes. She was also an avid supporter of the Brewers and Packers, proudly cheering on her teams through thick and thin. Her laughter and vibrant personality were felt by everyone around her.

Lori's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center MRICU for their compassion during her final days and a special acknowledgment of her best friend, Denise Gill, who brought so much joy and humor into her life.

A visitation will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on October 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM where friends and family will come together to celebrate Lori's life and the countless memories she created. A short memorial service will begin at 6:00 PM. Private enurnment will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.

Though she will be deeply missed, Lori's spirit and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
