Magdalena G. Vento, age 76, peacefully passed on April 27, 2024, surrounded by her sons, their spouses, and grandchildren. Born on March 4, 1948, in Manila, Philippines, Maggie, lovingly known as "Taz" and "Ming," moved to the U.S. in the late 1950's, settling in Barstow, California. She met her husband, Steve Vento, and together they built a vibrant life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, celebrating over 50 years of marriage.

Maggie's Zest for life was infectious. She embraces bowling leagues, community organizations, and church ministry, making lifelong friends where she went. Renowned for her generosity and youthful spirit, Maggie's laughter filled every room she entered.

A master of Filipino and Italian cuisine, Maggie loved to cook for loved ones and enjoyed music, dancing, and Zumba workouts. Her passion for travel took her to California, Las Vegas, and beyond, always accompanied by family and friends.

Maggie is survived by her son, Tony (Joy), Shawn (Van), Ryan (Maria), and Steven (Ady); grandchildren; sister, Ligaya; brothers, Arthur, Ricky, Gino, and Joel; and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Steve Vento.

Visitation will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home, 620 15th Avenue, Union Grove, WI 53182 on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 11 am. A prayer service will follow at 12 noon. Her cremains will be placed with her husband, Steve, at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery privately.
