Racine – Marcella Z. Garrett, age 97, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2018 at her residence. She was born on February 17, 1921 to parents August and Martha (nee. Marks) Koepp in Milwaukee, WI.

During her younger life in Milwaukee, she owned and operated her own beauty shop. Following that, she purchased a tavern in Raymond in 1959. Marcella ran that as Marcy's until she sold the business in 1997.

Marcella loved to help people in any way she could. She enjoyed going to Arizona in the winter and vacationing in Puerto Rico. Her most cherished times were spent with her family and friends, especially on Pike Lake in Park Falls, WI.

She is survived by her daughter, Leah (Larry) Schulz; 5 grandchildren, Terry (Dale Spoerlein) Hanke, David Schulz, Ron (Wendy) Schulz, Connie (Bob) Slye, and James Schulz; 8 great grandchildren, Nicole (Michael) Goldberg, Angie (Matt) Arnold, Maggie (Kenny) Monson, Ben (Teesa) Hanke, Lorraine (Nathan) Anderson, Jackie (Neil) Tilton, Raquel (Andrew) Calvert, and Hailey Slye; 13 great great grandchildren, Julia Vesel, Gracie & Charlie Goldberg, Ellie, Veda, & Finn Monson, Sophia & Wyatt Hanke, Lincoln & Alana Arnold, Keegan, Emery, & Ephraim Anderson; nephew, Bill "Skeeter" Koepp.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ronnie Walsh; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence & Lou Koepp.

Private services were held.
