Sturtevant – Mark M. DeChenne, age 61, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023, at his residence surrounded by family. He was born in Racine, WI, on October 28, 1962, to his late parents Ronald and Fena (nee. D'Aquisto) DeChenne.

He met the love of his life, Lori (nee. Vernick) DeChenne in 1982. He was a metal fabricator at Jensen Metals. Mark was an avid gun and knife collector, but what he cherished the most in life were his grandchildren and dogs.

Mark is survived by his wife, Lori; children, Jennifer (Justin Stefanski) Light, Ashly (Dave) Ratz, and Jonathan (Jenna) Miles; grandchildren, Hunter Ratz, Zoe Ratz, Jace Stefanski, and Lincoln Miles; brothers, Jim (Anne) DeChenne and Bob (Jenny) DeChenne, sister, Jodi (Tom) Anderson; many brothers and sisters in law; aunts, Frances Scott and Leona Shahani; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Fena DeChenne, and aunt, Jeanette Hill.

Per Mark's wishes, there will be no services held. Should friends and family desire contributions may be made to Lori DeChenne.

The family would like to thank Dr. Polthen, April, and the Aurora family practice staff at 8400 Washington ave and Dr. Haider and staff at Aurora Southern Lakes Cancer Center for the extraordinary care showed to Mark.
