Mary Jean Chisler (nee Pryor), age 68, left her weary body behind and entered eternity in with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 21, 2026. She passed in her home with her sister Janet at her side. Born March 18, 1957, to the late James and Patricia Pryor. Raised at Eagle Lake, she was a member of the original Manor gang (OMG). Mary spent her young adult life singing in a Gospel music group, Love's Call, and was briefly a partner in Talent Investment Recording Studio in Waukegan, IL. Mary was a registered nurse. She began her career in labor and delivery at St. Luke's Hospital in Racine. Having worked as a CNA at the Southern Wisconsin Center as a young woman, she returned as an RN to complete more than 35 years serving the developmentally disabled, retiring in November 2015. Mary was married to David Chisler, the love of her life, from July 2000 until his passing in March 2015. Her ashes will be spread with David's so they can be together forever.

Mary is survived by her stepdaughter, Juanita Soranno of New York; her siblings, Cheryl, Bob "Jim", Marcia, Janet, and Judy, all of Wisconsin; aunts; cousins; nieces and nephews; and grant-nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
