Sturtevant – Maureen Ellen Rechlicz, age 79, passed away on May 21, 2026, at her residence. She was born on July 16, 1946. Maureen took great pride in helping Veterans at the VA Hospital as a respiratory therapist.

She married Arthur Rechlicz on September 11, 2001, in Las Vegas. Together they made many great memories traveling all over the United States. They also enjoyed taking trips to the casino together.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Arthur Rechlicz; daughter, Eileen (Andrew) Kerkwood; Arthur's children, William (Jean) Rechlicz and Gregory (Rebecca) Rechlicz; two grandchildren; four step grandchildren; brother, Kevin (Gloria) McGrath; and other relatives and friends.

Maureen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred McGrath; her in laws, Arthur and Dorothy Rechlicz; her brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

As Maureen wished a private inurnment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

A Celebration of Maureen's Life will take place at a later date.
