Lake Geneva - Melanie Lyn Olson, age 54, passed away on August 18, 2017 in Kenosha. She was born on November 11, 1962, to parents Eldon and Avis (nee. Larson) Olson in Chicago, IL. She went on to graduate from Badger High School in Lake Geneva and worked many years as a cook at various places. Most recently, she worked at Burr Oak Manor and the East Troy House.

Melanie loved animals, especially dogs and horses. She loved to go on walks in the woods with her dogs, finding clover for her guinea pig. Melanie also loved motorcycles, but not as much as her sister, Michelle.

Melanie is survived by her mother, Avis and her sister, Michelle.
