Burlington - Michael E. Lulling, age 73, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 16, 2021, with his loving family at his side. Michael was born on June 19, 1948 in Glenview, Illinois to Eugene and Gertrude (nee. Hickey) Lulling. He grew up in Glenview and attended school there. In 1971, he graduated from Marquette University.

Michael was a 30 year veteran in marketing and sales for school fundraising and was affectionately known as "Mr. Z" by school kids and PTOs across southeastern Wisconsin. He was mostly "Mike" to everyone else. Mike was on the board of director of Friends of the Family Home Ministries, Inc. and made deep connections with others as a guide for Fishing, Faith & Friends. He was a volunteer for Homes Without Hope and was a longtime member of Family Fellowship Church.

He is survived by his wife Teresa (nee. Duncan) Lulling, his daughters, Alisa (Travis) Carlson, and Megan (Nathan) Rogers, his brothers, Thomas (Linda) Lulling, Timothy (Charlene) Lulling, sister, Maribeth (Richard) Krawczyk, and sister-in-law, Lisa Dedrick. He was the Cadbury egg pooping grandpa to Amelia, Avery, Crosby, Isley, Quinn, and Axel. Also survived by many loving family and friends, including his faithful Packer-loving crew.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, brother Patrick Lulling, and sister Suzanne Cruz.

When he wasn't feeding the neighborhood kids beef sticks, "ice pops," and frozen pizzas, Mike loved coaching tee ball and softball, being out on the boat, and throwing his clubs on the golf course. Mike had many friends and loved socializing, especially when it involved music. He had to have the best of the best sound system. Whether watching his beloved Green Bay Packers or listening to music, hearing loss was sure to occur. Mike had an insatiable sweet tooth. Why stop at just one cookie when you can eat the whole box? Even before vascular dementia took a toll on his gait, he could not pick up his feet to save his life. Mike was always busy around the house, tripping through his yard work.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Mt. Zion Christian Church, 2330 Hwy 120, Lake Geneva, WI from 9:30 am - 11:00 am. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am, followed by interment at the Burlington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MACC Fund or to Mt. Zion Christian School.
