Kansasville-Michael McDonald, 77, passed away June 18, 2018 at Ascension All Saints Hospital under Grace Hospice Care. He was born December 28, 1940 to James and Edna (Schultz) McDonald in Waukesha, WI. He married Shirley Sauer on October 20, 1962 and together they raised three children. He was a proud Army Veteran stationed in Germany during his service. He most recently retired from Rogan Shoes; his first job was selling shoes at age 13! He was a production supervisor for Barden Rubber for many years and worked at Lavelle Industries and Bere Silicone.
Michael was a founding member of the Eagle Horseshoe Tournament and competed in Tri County Horseshoe competitions. He was also on the Thursday horseshoe league at Old Settler Inn.
Michael is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Tammy Mitchell, Patrick (Shari) McDonald, and Susan (Jeff) Pieters; grandchildren, John, Jr., Jessa, Jalee, and Michael; great-granddaughter, Evelyn; and siblings, Sally Klotz and Francis McDonald.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Patricia, Jim, Joe, and Mary Lou.
The family would appreciate memorial donations to assist with purchasing a headstone for Michael.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, June 24 from 3-6 pm at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home. Memorial service will begin at 6 pm. The family will hold private burial services.
