Nancy Abels, aged 68, of Kansasville, Wisconsin, and formerly of Byesville, Ohio, passed away on April 23, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Born on August 7, 1957, in Byesville, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Charlotte Abels.

Nancy grew up in Ohio before relocating to the Union Grove, Wisconsin area, where she worked with Shepards Baptist Ministries. She was known for her love of craft shows, where she sold her paintings and sewed appliques on shirts. Nancy was a dedicated guardian and caregiver, always eager to help others and express her love of the Lord.

She is survived by her brother, Mark Abels, and his wife Kathe of New Port Richey, Florida; her nephew, Shaun Abels, and his wife Sarah; her niece, Kari Fonslet; and six great nieces and nephews: Zoe, Avery, Dane, Linea, Victoria, and Elliot. She is also survived by her aunt, Yvonne Rogers, her longtime friend and caregiver, Joan McCloud, and her beloved cat, Ebony. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at Senecaville Cemetery on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, at 3pm, with Ryan Bump officiating.
