Kansasville - Nancy Jean Hennen, 82, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2016 at Burlington Memorial Hospital. She was one of eight siblings born to Leo and Leonore (nee Sery) Hennen on April 28, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI. Nancy graduated from St. John's Cathedral High School in Milwaukee. Nancy worked for nearly 50 years and retired from First Wisconsin Bank - Downtown Branch. In her younger years, she was an active member of the St. Rose of Lima Christian Women's Group. Nancy loved shopping, especially for bargains, and was addicted to coupons and clearance sales. Aunt Nancy was beloved by all of her many nieces and nephews and she in turn loved them as her own. She was devoted to her family and lived as caregiver to several of her family members when they were in need. Holidays were always celebrated with Aunt Nancy at the original family home and at Christmas she made sure that there was a gift under the tree for each person.

Nancy is survived by her brother, Richard (Marjorie Ganter) Hennen and her sister, Margaret (Bob) Skyles; her sister-in-law, Ceil Hennen; as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Leonore; and her siblings, Robert (Elaine) Hennen, Thomas Hennen, Eileen (Harold) Stippich, Rosemary (Richard) Johnson, and Jane Hennen.

The family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff that took such loving care of Nancy during her final days. A special thanks to all those at the ADRC and Harmony Club for making her last year so purposeful.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 4 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 3320 S. Colony Avenue, Union Grove, WI 53182 from 9-11 am. Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Robert Kacalo will begin at 11 am. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 10 am.
