Nancy L. Wellsand

Nancy Lee Wellsand, age 74, passed away at her residence on June 2, 2026. She was born in Indiana on September 8, 1951, to parents, Roland and Phyllis (nee. Denton) Hardesty. Nancy graduated from Morgan Township High School in 1969, then went on to attend Ivy Tech Community College. She retired from Specialized Accounting Services where she worked as a bookkeeper.

Beyond her career, she had a profound love for life, often found nurturing her passion for gardening and spending time outdoors. Nancy was an avid participator in 5K walks. She cherished her connections with family, and embraced every moment spent with her grandchildren, treating each interaction as a precious gift. Her great granddaughter, Harper, was the light of her life.

An enthusiast of genealogy, Nancy delighted in tracing her family roots and sharing her discoveries with loved ones. She also found joy in traveling to Mt. Rainier In Washington State and visiting the zoo, creating lasting memories with family. Nancy was a beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother, who will be remembered for her joyful spirit, beautiful smile, and contagious laugh.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Karen Keown; grandchildren, Dylan Hrivnak, Meagan Hrivnak (Brendan Dilley), and Madison Hrivnak; great granddaughter, Harper Dilley; brother, Dale (Kris) Hardesty; and other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Judy Ritz and Lois (Larry) Mayer.

Visitation will take place at Miller Reesman Funeral Home on June 12th from 4pm – 6pm.
