Kenosha, WI – Peggy A. Carr (nee Christman), age 61, passed away on July 8, 2019 at the Atrium at Williams Bay. Peggy was born November 5, 1957 to Gilbert and Agnes (nee Mueller) Christman. Peggy graduated from William Horlick High School. She was previously a member of Lakeshore Tabernacle and St. Rita's Parish. Peggy married the late James Carr on January 28, 2000 and they loved each other until his death in November, 2012. Peggy was a great salesperson and worked for Big Lots of Kenoshafor many years. She expressed her kind and giving heart by contributing to local charities. Peggy enjoyed spending her free time at rummage sales and crafting. She also enjoyed interior decorating as well as tending to her flower garden.

Peggy is survived by her siblings, Shirley Eschmann, James Christman, Patricia (John) Warden, Judy (Joel) Weber, Debbie (Jim) Fiedler, and Laurie (Rich) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her four legged best friend, Tippy.

Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim; her parents, Gilbert Christman and Agnes Peterson; step-father, Chris Peterson; brothers, Matthew and Dennis Christman; sisters, Diane Christman and Kathleen Pinney; and her brothers-in-law, Don Eschmann and Robert Pinney; Sister-in-law Mary Lee Christman;nephew Jimmy Bean Christman and niece Jessic Warden.

At Peggy's request, there will be no public services.

Peggy would like to thank the staff at Atrium for their caring support. Peggy and her family would like to give special thanks to Kindred Hospice, especially, Linda Eidsvoog, Miranda Reinke, Rachel Hoss, Marian North and Chaplain Kelly Vanderstappen. Also giving great thanks to her special friends and helpers, Tammy Clausen and Emery Pettit.
