On September 1, 2025, we celebrate the extraordinary life of Peter Connell Koszyczarek, who departed this world at the age of 68, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and a boundless sense of wonder. Born on October 15, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Peter was a dedicated husband, father, son, and treasured friend to many.

A proud graduate of St. John's Cathedral High School, Peter went on to complete a two-year apprenticeship that laid the foundation for his fulfilling career as an Automated Systems Technician at InSinkErator. His skills and dedication in the manufacturing industry were unmatched, with the ability to fix anything.

A man of many passions, Peter found joy in an array of hobbies that reflected his curious heart. He could often be found cultivating his garden, exploring the wonders of outer space, tinkering with computers, or immersing himself in puzzles and coloring. His recent fascination with butterflies reminds us of the beauty in transformation and the magic that surrounds us every day.

Peter lived life with an infectious sense of wonder, inspiring those around him to see the extraordinary in the ordinary. He brought light to every room he entered and had a gift for making even the simplest moments memorable.

Peter is survived by his beloved spouse, Karen Koszyczarek, nee Pelletieri. He was a proud father to his sons, Tony (Steve Weiand) and Peter, Jr. (Kelly), and his daughter, Andrea (Justin) LaFrania. He cherished his grandchildren, Peyton, Emma, Bryn, Jamison, and Carter. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Colleen as well as his siblings, Sue Wolff, Anne (Tom) Carloni, Mary Pezze, and Jeanne Koszyczarek; siblings-in-law, Kathy (Steve) Petrovich and Diane (Jeff) Toczek and countless family and friends.  Reminding them to come back when they can't stay so long.  His warmth, laughter, and love will forever be cherished in our hearts.

Peter was preceded in death by his father, Leonard; parents-in-law, Richard and Patricia Pelletieri; and brothers-in-law, Ken Wolff, Larry Piloczewski, and Rick Pelletieri.

Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating the joyful spirit and legacy of Peter Connell Koszyczarek. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5 from 4-6 pm at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home and again Saturday, September 6 from 12 - 1 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 6 at 1 pm at St. Mary's Church in Dover. Burial will immediately follow at Union Grove Memorial Cemetery.
