Franksville - Peter Toman, age 80, passed away on January 6, 2024, at Aurora St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born on October 3, 1943, to parents Edmund and Leona (nee. Lozinski) Toman. Pete worked at Southern Wisconsin Center and Waupun Correctional Institution doing facility repair maintenance. He met the love of his life, Kathleen, while they were both employed at Southern Wisconsin Center. Pete loved spending time restoring old cars, going to car shows and swap meets, woodworking, and watching NASCAR. Pete did complete automotive restoration from the engines to the body work. His upholstery work was phenomenal.

Pete is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Melissa Welter, Peter (Tracy) Toman, Ed Criplean, Deb (Phillip) Keeku, Muff Criplean (Kim Winther), Jason (Denise) Criplean; siblings, Jerry Toman and Barb (Rick) Esser; ten grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nan; and brother-in-law, Jim James.

Visitation will be at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Thursday, January 18 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a memorial service to begin at 3. Private inurnment will take place at Union Grove Memorial Cemetery in the spring.
