Philip Clark Mangus passed away on February 10, 2022, at the Union Grove Veterans Home in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Clark was born on August 15, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Philip and Martha (Kuizen) Mangus. His family moved to Grayslake where he attended Grayslake High School and met Charlotte Joyce (Schillinger). On September 25, 1953 he married his high school sweetheart, Joyce.

Clark studied at the Art Institute of Chicago until he was drafted in 1958. He served his country in the United States Army from 1958-1964. After serving in the military, he and his wife made their home in Lindenhurst, Illinois where they lived for over 50 years. He worked as an agent for Western & Southern Life Insurance Company and then became an agent for American Family Insurance. Clark retired from American Family after 30 years of being the local agent in Lindenhurst.

Clark is survived by his wife, Joyce, of 67 years of marriage; his children Jacqueline (James) Homer, Karen Coari, and David Mangus; and his grandchildren Amanda Nesci, Alexandria Nesci, and Joshua Coari. He is survived by his sister Sharon (Joseph) Vogel. Clark was proceeded in death by his parents, a sister Phyllis Farm, and his infant daughter Ann Marie.

Clark was buried with full military honors at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
