Yorkville - Randal E. Willis, 55, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Franklin on Tuesday, July 19. Randy was born in Racine on September 12, 1960 to Richard and the late Marie (Rognerud). He was united in marriage to Betty (BJ) Simonsen on August 25, 1990. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He worked at Racine County Highway Department for many years before retiring due to health issues. Randy was a 2-time kidney recipient and was a strong supporter of organ donation. For 4 years he organized a golf fundraiser for the kidney foundation in honor of his brother, Jeff. Despite all of his health issues he always made the most of life and lived it to the fullest. He loved to laugh and joke around. He enjoyed sarcastic banter and always had a wisecrack at the ready!

Randy is survived by his wife, BJ; his daughter, Stefanie Payne; 3 stepchildren, Shane, Shelly, and Robert Tuttle; his father, Richard; stepmother, Karen; brother, Scott (Katie); 11 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother; brother, Jeff; mother and father-in-law; two nieces; one grandson; sister-in-law, and brother-in-law.

A special Thank You to the ICU nurses, Erin and Katie, for the wonderful care they gave to Randy and for the support they gave to his family.

Visitation for Randy's family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 24 from 1 – 3 pm at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home. Memorial Services will begin at 3 pm. Burial at West Lawn Memorial Cemetery will take place on a future date.
