It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Richard Drabek, our "Dee". He was raised and attended school in New Berlin. Richard enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1966 and served in the Vietnam War. Richard was a pillar in the HVAC industry and passed down his knowledge to his sons and many others. One of his greatest joys was being apart of the Honor Flight with his son, Tim, and his family celebrating his return. Richard had a love of cooking and vacationing to northern Wisconsin, especially St Germain.

Richard will be deeply missed by his loving companion and wife, Sue, of 47 years. He leaves behind his children, Kim (late Tom), Tim, Tina (Mike), Michael (Laura), and Lindsey (Cole). Also, his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister Pat, nieces and nephews. Richard was very much loved by his entire family, close friends, and his beloved furry companion, Beatrice.

Richard is proceeded in death by his mother Margaret, father Paul, brother Jim, and brother in law Jim Walker.

A service will be held on Friday July 25th at 11am at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery (21731 Spring Street). Following the service will be a luncheon at The Bunker in Waterford.
