Union Grove – Richard G. Faulkner, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2018. He was born on December 3, 1930 to the late Harry and Lydia Faulkner.

Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by SC Johnson, where he served in various management positions within the U.S. Manufacturing Division and retired in 1984 after 31 years of service. During his retirement years, he was involved with several community organizations including the Salvation Army Advisory Board, St. Mary's Auxiliary Board, and the Racine Literary Council Tutoring Program.

He leaves his wife, Clare (nee. Hogard); daughters, Cynthia Madson and Christi Kemp; step-daughter, Susan (Glen) Rogers; 2 grandchildren, Bryan and Stacy (Eric) Madson; 2 step-grandchildren, Alex and Krista Jacobson; 7 great-grandchildren; many relatives and good friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the funeral home, from 1:30 – 2:30 pm. Burial with full military honors will immediately follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Mt. Pleasant Police K-9 Unit, Salvation Army of Racine, or charity of choice.
