Salem - Robert "Bob" George Ahler Jr, passed away on October 1, 2024. He was born to Robert George Sr and Theresa (nee: Gerich) Ahler on October 21, 1953. Bob lived a life full of dedication and service to his community.

Bob held numerous jobs throughout his life, including managing True Value in Paddock Lake, Stay Rite, working as an EMT for Silver Lake, and ultimately retiring from Plastic Parts in Union Grove. He was dedicated member of Ducks Unlimited, he also served with pride as part of the Kenosha County Fair Police for over 20 years.

One of Bob's greatest joys was the annual family trips to Skokie, Illinois, where he took great delight in preparing their special family sausage recipe. In his leisure time, he enjoyed scrolling through his phone, selecting photos and videos to share with his loved ones.

Robert Ahler Jr joined in marriage with Edith McHuges on September 4, 1999, forming a partnership filled with love and devotion. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Edith, along with children Adam (Kim) Ahler, Mandy (John) Ahler, Everett Colson and Jennifer Colson, siblings Betty (Dick) Hoover, Greg Ahler, Marge Cooley, Rita (Joe) Chrast, Bill (Cheryl) Ahler, and Don Ahler, sister-in-laws Doris (Tim) Pine and Sue (Terry) Alsip, as well as 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Although preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Theresa Ahler, sons Eric and Neil Ahler, and brother Peter Ahler. Robert's memory and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In honoring Robert's wishes, there will not be any formal services held at this time. Instead, we invite friends and family to come together to celebrate his life and share stories of his enduring legacy in the days ahead. Let us remember Robert Ahler Jr with fondness, gratitude, and a profound appreciation for the joy he brought to all those around him.
