Union Grove – Robert "Bob" Jerome Drissel, age 83, passed away on January 31, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on January 14, 1940, to Eugene and Helen (nee Sekey) Drissel. He grew up in the town of Paris where he attended St. John's Catholic School. On June 19, 1965, he married the love of his life Kay Kluender, together they had two beautiful children. He spent his years working as a farmer and truck driver. He was known to many as the "John Deere Legend," Robert took such pride in his tractors. Robert spent countless hours restoring and painting his antique tractors, he was a lifetime member of the Southeast Wisconsin Antique Power & Collectible Society. Every year he would donate his time, tractors and equipment to the 4H Horse Project during the Racine County Fair. When he wasn't tinkering and turning wrenches on his tractors he enjoyed baking, especially pies, canning, taking drives around to look at farmland, and watching western films. Robert and his friends looked forward to getting together for their coffee clutches. Of course his all-time favorite was spending time with his lovely grandchildren creating memories.

Robert is survived by his children, Kevin Drissel and Kim (Carl) Kujac; grandchildren Kyle (Mallory) Kujac and Kailee Kujac; great grandchildren Kensley, Kendalyn, and Kason Kujac and Jackson and Amelia Dembosky; siblings Eugene "Butch" Drissel, Judy Altreuther, and David (Leann) Drissel; and his good friends Gerry Berg, Steve Kevek, and Dennis Vignieri.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Helen Drissel, loving wife Kay Drissel, brother Bill (Carole) Drissel, brother-in-law Ron Altreuther and Joe Dembosky, life partner of Kailee and father of great-grandchildren Jackson and Amelia.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Home Instead and St. Croix Hospice for their love and compassion while caring for Robert.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
