Robert J. Emery, age 82, entered Eternal Life on August 5, 2021. Predeceased by parents Edna C. (nee. Hughes) and Melbourne Emery, sister Nanette (Emery) Mason and brother Rex Emery. Survived by Katherine (nee. Kranstover) Emery, the love of his life, son Adam (Dr. Alison), grandchildren Carson and Alexandra. Loved by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, creatures great and small and friends too numerous to mention. He will be missed. Bob was born August 27, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Miami University (OH) and found a stellar career in radio management spanning many cities and stations. Eventually relocating to Milwaukee in 1970, he managed one of the first "beautiful music" radio stations in the city and returned to Chicago where he was named general manager of WIND. Bob left radio in 1980 to start Emery and Associates, an advertising/marketing agency. His love for radio continued and he began Christian radio stations FISH and WORD in Milwaukee.

His greatest love, however, was for his wife, Katherine, an avid equestrian. Katherine and Bob began a horse-boarding business at their 120-acre farm, Spring Willow, providing community and fellowship for other horse lovers. The farm and business soon became Bob's sole passion. Over the years his vision became reality as he transformed the property as we know it today – a pastoral respite for family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at Spring Willow Farm, 2002 200th Avenue, Union Grove, WI 53182, Saturday, August 14 at 2:00 pm.
