Mount Pleasant - Robert Arnold Suckow, age 77, passed away at his home on October 12, 2025. He was born on September 3rd, 1948, to Jane and Levi Suckow. He proudly served in the US Navy. Bob was united in marriage to Patricia Kolakowski on May 25, 1973, and they shared 53 happy years together.

Bob was a skilled carpenter who had a passion for woodworking and building. He found great joy in working with his hands, especially when it came to projects with his family. One of his proudest moments was building a garage alongside his sons. He loved spending time outdoors, particularly camping and relaxing by the campfire, where he was often found sharing stories or cracking jokes.

Family was at the heart of Bob's life. He cherished all the moments that he spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had an incredible sense of humor, love of reading, and a warm welcoming presence that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia; his children, Kevin (Tina), Tammy (Tony), and Brian; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Olivia), Jacob (Jacky), Andrew (Amanda), Kaitlyn (Garrett), Matthew, Shyanne and Robert; great grandchildren, Stella, Skyler, Jaxson, Grayson and Jonathon; siblings, Mary, Rita, and Arnold; siblings in law, Eileen, Wayne, Ronny (Ginny), and Jim (Jan), and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David; and siblings in law, William and Mary.

A visitation will be held at Miller Reesman Funeral Home on October 20 from 3pm – 5pm with a service to begin at 5pm. Burial and full military honors will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on October 21 at 2pm. If you plan to go to the cemetery, please arrive at the funeral home between 1pm and 1:30pm as we will be going to in procession to the cemetery.
