Roger Owen Young

11/25/41- 9/8/21

Roger, age 79, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family . He was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin . He met the love of his life, Patti Gullickson, in the fall of 1971. They were united in marriage on May 11, 1974 at Southside Church of Christ. In 1977, they moved to Union Grove. Roger worked at Case corporation as an industrial electrician for over 38 years. He was a proud UAW local 180 member. Above all, Roger was a true family man. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren more than anything in the world. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. Roger enjoyed listening to the brewers and packer games on the radio or watching them on TV . He loved spending the most time with his best friend and the love of his life Patti. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Roger is survived by his wife Patti, Daughters; Wendella (Lynn) Cook and Beth (Chris) Miller, Sons; Troy Light, Mark (Amber) Young, and 9 Grandchildren and 2 siblings.

Roger was preceded in his death by his parents, Harry and Gracie Young, 3 sisters; Betty, Mildred, Shirley and one brother Harry. His children; Kim, Randy, Heather and Tammy Young; and a grandson Christopher Light.

There will be a service on September 25, 2021. 2pm at Southside Church of Christ at 1933 W Grange Ave, Milwaukee, WI. 53221
