Union Grove – Ronald M. Armstrong, age 69, passed away at his residence on May 20, 2016. He was born on May 7, 1947 to parents George and Clara (nee. Blue) in Chicago, IL.

Ronald proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He also served in the United States Air Force Reserves at O'Hare Airport in Chicago. He loved attending the Oshkosh Air Show and visiting the EAA Museum there every year. Ronald was an avid model builder and loved to collect die cast cars and aircraft. He was also a diehard Chicago Bears fan and love music from the 1960's and 1970's. He deeply loved his dogs, Baren, Willow, and Abigail.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his children, Kelly (Chris) Jones and Thomas Armstrong; his grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler, Kyle, and Skyler; and his step-daughter, Anita Anders.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 10:00 am. Full military honors and inurnment will immediately follow.
