Roy Wade Jones Jr., lovingly known as Wade, passed away peacefully at his home on July 3, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on August 17, 1965, to Roy Wade Jones Sr. and Betty Jane (Jennejohn) Boyer, Wade lived a life guided not just by the roads he traveled, but by the heart and spirit he carried with him on life's winding journey.

Wade was a man of many passions and quiet generosity. His enthusiasm for life was infectious-whether he was fixing lawn mowers, preparing meals from the garden's bounty, flying down back country roads on his Harley, or casting lines from a riverbank. He had a gift for passing on his passions and inspiring others to embrace each moment. Wade showed us that when hard work is paired with care for others, both stomachs and souls are fed. He taught us a rich life is one spent in good company.

His legacy lives on in the hearts of all he touched-through cherished memories, shared laughter, enduring values, and the love he planted in everyday moments. His spirit continues to shine in those who knew, loved, and were shaped by him:

Wade is now reunited with his beloved grandparents Henry and Alma (Steffen) Jennejohn, his parents Roy Wade Jones Sr. and Betty Jane (Jennejohn) Boyer, his brother Kane Jones, and his loyal dog, Frank.

To honor Wade's generous and free spirit, we invite you to a Celebration of Life-not a traditional memorial service, a gathering full of laughter, stories, garden-fresh food, and lines cast into a pond once fished together.

Join us on Sunday, August 17, 2025-Wade's 60th birthday-at Echo Lake Park from 2 PM to 6 PM, as we share the final harvest from his garden and celebrate the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the roots he planted in each of us. His life was a reminder that joy can be found in everyday moments, and that legacy is grown one kindness at a time.
