Rumaldo Jaime

Rumaldo Jaime 87 of Bristol died on April 23, 2022 at the Aurora Medical Center Kenosha. He was born November 28, 1934 in Brooks Co,Texas, Falfurrias, to Jesus and Tomasa (Benavidez Capritti) Jaime. He started working as a very young man even as ranch hand on the King Ranch at 15 years old. He started serving his country at 16 years old after tricking his mom into signing his enlistment papers. He served in the Navy primarily as a torpedo man during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He started with the first 4 years on a Destroyer TIngee DD539 in the Wonsan Harbor. Then he switched to submarines for the rest of his 20 year plus Military career. He was on the USS Queenfish (SS-393), USS Muskallunge (SS-262), USS Tecumseh (SSBN-628) and the USS Trepang (SSN-674). On September 11, 1956 he married Patricia Annette Weeks, for 63 years till her passing, in 2020. After his naval career he traveled the country as a owner operator truck driver with his wife at his side.

He is survived by his children Roberta "Bobbie" Jaime, Alfred (Lori) Jaime and Lola (Valerie) Wagner. His grandchildren Josh, Nick, Jacob, James and Annah. Rumaldo's last living siblings Jesus "Jesse"(Grace) Jaime and Anita Sanchez.

Rumaldo was proceeded in death by his Wife, Parents and siblings Jesusa Jaime, Jaime Jaime, Deloris "Lala" Jaime and Jesus Rodriguez-Jaime.

Visitation in memory of Rumaldo will take place at the funeral home on June 2nd from 11:30AM -12:30PM. Services with full military honors will immediately follow at the cemetery.
