West Allis – Ruth Ellen Kotnek, age 84, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2017, at Community Memorial Hospital Hospice, Garden View in Menomonee Falls. She was born on November 19, 1932, in Milwaukee.

For many years, Ruth worked at A.O. Smith, and later, Kohl's Department Stores. Ruth loved going to the theatre, traveling, and having dinner with friends.

Ruth is survived by her nieces, Ronnie (Greg) Sunila, Mary (Keith) Lentz, and Christine (Shannon) Holland; and her great nieces and nephews, Amanda (Steffen) McCullough, Andrew Sunila, Joshua and Haley Lentz, Parker, Braxton, and Drew Holland.

In lieu of gifts or flowers we ask that you make donations to the Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove in honor of Ruth.

Private inurnment will be held at Arlington Cemetery.
