Sharon Doreen Mulder was born in Ashland, WI on July 11, 1945. Sharon was the daughter of Wayne Paul & Mildred (Blanche Miles) James. Mildred was the daughter of Harold James & Esther (Elizabeth Aller) Miles. Harold was the son of Almond Edwards and (Blanche Yerington) Miles.

Under the ministry of Pastor Clayton Weekley of Calvary Gospel Chapel, Seeley, WI, Sharon came to faith in Christ at age six — two years after her parents came to faith. She was baptized at age 14. Her family later moved to the Twin Cities where she finished high school.  She attended and graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College.  After moving back to Minneapolis to find work, she met a handsome farm boy who was destined for Christian ministry. On September 4, 1971 she married Mark E. Mulder.  Over the next 14 years they raised a family of three sons, adopted a daughter, and ministered in several churches.  In 1985, they moved to Union Grove, WI where her husband ministered at Shepherds Home. They adopted another daughter expanding their family to five children.

Sharon faithfully served her Savior and loved her family.  She graciously hosted family and friends, always made sure there was plenty of food for everyone.  She was devoted to her husband, loyal to her children and adored her 15 grandchildren.  Mark and Sharon shared nearly fifty years of marriage together.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Mark; her sister, Becky (Robin) Schmahl; her siblings-in-law, Tom (Linda) Mulder, Eunice (Randy) White, Lois Bridges, Allen Bridges, Gene Holtorf, Jim Mulder, LeAnne Mulder, Avis (John) Hilger, Robert (Tammie) Mulder, Debbie (Randy) Rohwer, Kurt (Jody) Mulder, Warren Mulder, and Wade (Angie) Mulder; her children Matthew (Mary) Mulder, David (Esther) Mulder, Daniel (Selena) Mulder, SaraAnn (Reuben) Evans, Katie Jo Mulder; her grandchildren, Ashton, Keeler, Winter, and Summer Mulder, Reghan, Sadie, and Dana Mulder, Logan, Boone, Hallie, and Tucker Mulder, Evangelina, Sam, Olivia, and Ian Evans. S

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Curtis & Gary James, and sister-in-law Marcellyn Holtorf.

Sharon died at her residence, on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the age of 75.

Due to COVID concerns, a private funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church Burlington, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Emmanuel Baptist Church ( P.O. Box 539, Burlington, WI  53105 ) have been suggested.
