Bristol - Shirley M. Leiting, age 90, passed away at Brookside Care Center on December 14, 2021. She was born on January 2, 1931 in Kenosha to parents, George and Maudy (nee. Campbell) Robinson. On April 21, 1950, Shirley married the love of her life, Harold Leiting, and were married for 71 years. With her husband, she owned and operated Shirley's Beauty Salon in Pleasant Prairie for many years. They also operated Lords and Ladies Hair Salon in West Pueblo, CO. She was a longtime member of Daysprings Valley Church in McMinville, TN, as well as serving as a mobile missionary for 17 years with the Mobile Missionary Assistance Program (MMAP). Shirley also was a 4H General Leader with River Acres.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harold; children, Sherry Pokryfke and Randy (Keri) Leiting; daughter-in-law, Nancy Leiting; grandchildren, Kenneth Pokryfke, Connie (Thomas) Rowton, Steven Leiting, Katie Leiting, Doug Leiting, Robin (John) Sandoval, Keith (Nicky) Leiting, and Kevin (Amanda) Leiting; great-grandchildren, Micah, Broden, and Macee.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, and sons, Gary and Danny.

A memorial service for both Harold and Shirley will be held on June 17, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Parkway Chateau. 12304 75th St Kenosha, WI 53142.
