Kenosha - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Glen Cardinali, who was born on August 31, 1980, in Wisconsin and left us too soon on December 16, 2025. A cherished son and a beloved friend, Steve lived in Kenosha, where he worked as a painter in the construction industry. He served his apprenticeship with Ruffalo Painting and was a proud member of Local 934, Painters & Drywall Finishers, where he held the role of Journeyman Painter and was the current president of the local union.

He was a dedicated painter, having worked with various local contractors, and was currently with JDR Painting and Decorating. Outside of work, he had a passion for volleyball, playing in leagues and refereeing games in the Kenosha area. His love for sports extended to boxing, as he proudly competed in the Golden Gloves for several years, and he was a devoted fan of the Packers and Brewers. Steve also cherished the simple pleasures of life—fishing, attending concerts, visiting amusement parks, and enjoying movies with friends and family.

Steve is survived by his loving parents, Donald and Nancy (nee: Knudsen) Cardinali; his brother Matthew (Shelby) Cardinali; his cherished nephew and godson Luke Cardinali; and niece Mary Cardinali.

Funeral services will be held on Monday December 22, 2025, at St. Anothony's Church in Kenosha from 4-6pm, with services beginning at 6pm.

Rest in peace, Steve. You will be missed deeply but will forever be in our hearts.
