Greendale – Teresa Roberta Canapa, age 78, passed away on June 9, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boise, Idaho on April 14, 1947, to parents Robert and Mary (nee. Cockrill) Stephenson. On November 9, 1968, she was united in marriage to John H. Canapa, and together they raised six children. Terry proudly served in the United States Navy.

Terry is survived by her husband, John H. Canapa; children, Timm (Jill Anhalt) Canapa, Katrina (Jeffrey) Holewinski Sr., Tamara (Clarence) Mattox, Trisha (Walter Burgin) Canapa Johnson, Tyler (Sarah) Canapa, and Toby (Leah Fiasca) Canapa; grandchildren, Sarah, Aron, Laura, Ashly, Amanda, Jeffrey Jr., Liz, Connor, Gideon, Dallen, and Ian; great grandchildren, Jeffrey III (Tripp), Leonard, and Rylen; and many other relatives and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Stephenson, and son-in-law, Jermaine.

A visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (9600 W Grange Ave Hales Corners, WI 53130) on June 14 from 9am – 11am with a funeral service to begin at 11am. Burial at Forest Home Cemetery will immediately follow.
