Union Grove – Thomas L. Williamson, 70, passed away on October 1, 2017. He was born February 2, 1947 to Fred and Eleanor (nee Peters) Williamson in Chicago, IL. Thomas was an Army Veteran who served honorably in the Vietnam War era in Germany. He worked as a mechanic for the Army and was later a machinist for International Harvester/ Komatsu Dresser for twenty years. Thomas enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family.

Thomas is survived by his ex-wife, Kathleen Williamson of Bristol, WI; children, Kelly (Rob) of Grayslake, Il and Tom (Dawn) of Cabot, AR; grandchildren, Spencer, Lauren, Cody, and Haley; and siblings, Robert (Darlene) Williamson of Virginia, Gerald Williamson of Minnesota.

Thomas was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor; father, Fred; and step-mother, Vivian; sister, Penny Lou Williamson; and sister-in-law, Donna Williamson.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday October 8 from 10 – 11 am at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home. Service will begin at 11 am.
