Tim, a resident of Racine WI at the time of his death on April 21, 2018, was born in Town of Lake WI on August 6th, 1949, and spent his early life in Bay View, WI. He attended high school in Woodstock IL and St. Francis High School in St. Francis WI graduating with the class of 1967.  That is where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen "Kitty" Jahn.

Tim was a loving and devoted husband. They were married for 35 years, being inseparable through good and tough times, until her untimely death in 2005.

Tim was further preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and D. Elaine (Fetgatter) Borland, a brother Lee (Linda) Borland of Waynesville, NC, a sister Judi Borland of Woodstock, IL.

Tim had a brilliant mind and quick wit. He was successful in all things to which he turned that mind.  He was a lifetime musician, playing in the band "The Fugitives" at age 15.  He was a skilled craftsman, trained as a welder and self-taught as a designer, fabrication problem solver, and woodworker.  He was an auto, motorcycle, and aviation enthusiast.  One of his favorite life moments was a "joy ride" in a WWII bomber.

Fond father of Stacey (Tony) Koconis, Andrea (Jimi) Curtis, and Heather. Dear brother of Terry (Tom) Fryjoff and Randy (Lori).  He is also survived by 6 grand children: Tiffany Kosterman, Justin Koconis. Sabrinnia and Amanda Corrie, Jessica and Cassandra Sweezey, as well as 4 great grandchildren, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2-4pm. Memorial services will follow.
