Union Grove-Timothy "Tim" Remer, 75, passed away August 2, 2025, at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine. He was born to Roy and Adeline Remer and grew up on a small farm near Burlington and graduated from Salem High School. He was a proud Army Veteran who served in Germany during the Vietnam era. Tim enjoyed hunting and working on cars.

Tim is survived by his children, Lynnette Ostenson and Michelle Ruffalo, grandchildren, Kyle Ostenson and Dakota Ostenson; and siblings, William B. Remer, Michelle A. Dayboll, Sharyell I. Highland, and Cynthia A. Ramirez.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandson, Kevin Ostenson, Jr.; his parents; and his brothers, LaRoy E Remer, Richard C. Remer, Robert A. Remer, Theodore B. Remer, and Lawrence B. Remer.

Visitation will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Friday, August 29 from 9-10 am. Memorial service will begin at 10 am. Burial with full military honors will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 11 am.
